The short version The app collects nothing. It has no internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere even if we wanted it to. There is no account and no sign-in.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store or transmit any personal information. There is no account to create, no email to hand over, and no sign-in of any kind.

The app has no internet access

AVS Construction Calculator is installed without the Android internet permission. You can confirm this yourself: open Settings, App info, Permissions. The app is physically unable to reach a server, so no measurement, calculation or setting can leave your phone.

What is stored on your phone

These settings are saved on the device so the app remembers them:

Whether you chose metric or imperial
How many decimal places results are rounded to
The trade you picked when you first opened the app
The kinds of work you picked, so your tools appear first
Whether haptic feedback is on
The speed spoken measurements are read at
Whether you have finished the opening questions

None of this is sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

Sharing a result

Some calculators let you share a result. Tapping share opens your phone's own share sheet, and you choose where the text goes — a message, an email, a note. The app hands the text to Android and nothing more. We never see it, and what happens after that is governed by whichever app you picked.

Spoken measurements

The Running Measurements calculator can read numbers aloud. This uses the text-to-speech engine already on your phone. No audio is recorded and nothing is uploaded.

Advertising and analytics

There are none. No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no trackers, no advertising identifier.

Payments

The app is free. Every calculator is included. There is nothing to buy inside it and no payment details are ever requested.

Children

The app is safe for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, that will be stated here before it ships.
